RID / NIC loses face to BEI interpreter credential in Michigan-

After I received a letter from the state (Michigan) agency of the Department of Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DODHH) regarding a new interpreter testing
system to be implemented for the state, I discovered the new acronym of BEI.
Soon afterward, I would learn that the BEI has become a "hot potato" for the DODHH agency that threatens the "pro quo" RID / NIC as the mainstay of interpreter credentials.
